Screws - 3/4 inch - each
While only 3/4 inch long, these screws are giants when it comes to attaching the pulleys to the Roman Quilt Headrail.   Like their 2 inch bigger cousins, these screws have a hexagonal head and work also with a phillips head screwdriver.
Screws -1.25 inch - each
Screws may not seem very interesting, but they are the heart of the installation.  Our 1.25" hexagonal  screws have slotted heads but using hex head drivers makes installation much easier and much less likely for a screwdriver to slip loose.  They are long enough to screw through our outside mount headrail bracket and into molding or through plaster into wood beneath.

Tack Strip
Tack Strip
Our Price: $0.25
We supply tack strip with our Roman Quilt Insulating Shade Kits as the "professional" and permanent way to attach the shade to the headrail.  This is an upholstering trick that assures a crisp, straight appearance  that can not be achieved as effectively with hook and loop tape.  The tack strip is 1/2 inch wide and is a cardboard product.  Of the many techniques we've experimented with,  this is the best and it also the least cost.  You only need a stapler.

Tack Strip is sold by the foot in whole foot increments.
Loop Tape 5/8"
Loop Tape 5/8"
Our Price: $0.50
Loop tape is a very versatile product. Ours is 5/8" wide and will mate perfectly with our 5/8" wide hook tape (sold separately). Why 5/8"? 5/8" is a perfect width for attachment to the top of shades to mate with the 5/8" hook tape that can be stapled to the headrail. This is an easy way to attach the shade to headrail. It is not as permanent an attachment as using our tack strip, but it allows the removal of the shade from the headrail for cleaning, etc.

Color: White

Sold by the foot.
Hook Tape 5/8"
Hook Tape 5/8"
Our Price: $0.50
Our 5/8" wide hook tape is perfect for stapling to headrails. The width provides just the right coverage to maximize the shade attachment strength while not being so wide that it overlaps the headrail. It will mate perfectly with our 5/8" wide loop tape (sold separately). This is an easy way to attach the shade to headrail. It is not as permanent an attachment as using our tack strip, but it allows the removal of the shade from the headrail for cleaning, etc.

Color: White

Sold by the foot.
Screw Eyes
Screw Eyes-each
Our Price: $0.55
Srew Eyes are 13/32" inside diameter. They can be used instead of cord pulleys. However, there is a bit more cord friction making the shade more difficult to lift and there is more cord-wear. We use them in our custom shades as the last cord-guide before the cord lock.

They are sold individually (each)
Roman Shade Brackets - Multi-Use
Brackets are required for outside installations and may also be useful for inside installations if the shade can not be screwed directly to the interior top of the window. At 1 1/2" depth, they are matched to the headrail depth. Order screws separately. Brackets are sold individually. They measure 1 1/2" X 1 1/2".
Outside Mount Roman Shade Brackets
Outside mount bracket sets include brackets as well as hardware (bolt, washer, and wing-nut) needed to attach the brackets to the headrail. Please note that 2" screws that attach the brackets to the window casing or wall are sold separately. This arrangement is the most versatile and easiest set-up we've found for installing outside mount shades. We include them with our custom shades and outside mount customized shade kits. The bracket sets are sold individually. At least two bracket sets are required per shade while more may be in order for wider shades. Generally the brackets will be placed no greater than 36" apart.
Threading Needle
Threading Needle
Our Price: $1.95
How can you make fabrication of Rominsulated Roman Quilt shades even easier? Simply use the specially sized threading needle to thread the lift cord through the loops in the safety loop cord. We like these so much that we are now including them in our customized shade kits. They are provided in a random selection of colors and are reusable.

Sold Individually.
